The event runs from 8:30 a.m. -10:30 a.m. in the Parish Hall of St. Francis of Assisi Episcopal Church, 204 Dooley Street. The men of the community are invited to participate in the free breakfast.
Bradford, who joined the university in July 2011 will share
his experiences and provide vital information to the current projects and
future development underway at the university. As part of his duties Bradford ensures
PVAMU’s fiscal responsibility through cultivating revenue sources through new, and
innovative ways with an interest in research.
The St. Louis native has an established career in higher
education. Prior to PVAMU he served as assistant vice president for financial
and administrative affairs and ethics officer at the Southern Illinois
University System. Prior to that post, Bradford was the assistant to the vice
president for planning and budget and budget analyst for the SIU System. During
his time with the SIU System, he played a role in securing $3 billion in state
appropriations.
Bradford earned a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics Studies
and a master’s in Applied Math and Statistics from Southern Illinois University
Edwardsville. He received an educational certificate from the Harvard Institute
for Management Development and earned his Ph.D. in Higher Education
Administration from Southern Illinois University Carbondale.
Bradford is a member of the National Association of College
and University Business Officers, the Central Association of College and
University Business Officers, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., the American
Mathematical Society, the SIU Alumni Association and the SIUE Alumni
Association.
